The easternmost part of Liguria is a kaleidoscope of settings and emotions: Sarzana, the Magra Valley, castles, towers, the Via Francigena – the ancient connection between Northern Europe and Rome via the Tyrrhenian regions, the route of pilgrims and merchants.

Ambrosini interprets the past in the light of modernity. The grain mill started processing oil, too mill, as the olive tree conquered new spaces in Liguria and its surroundings. The spirit of the azienda is influenced by its position between Liguria and Lunigiana. Today the mill works with selected soft wheat, respectfully preserving the germ and producing high-quality flours – those that once were the rule and nowadays are the exception. The azienda is also a provider of extra virgin olive oil, in a proper balance of modern machinery and ancient know-hows. The production of PDO Riviera Ligure EVO confirms a project that can be thus summarized: “We care about the health of our customers: educating them towards a healthy diet is the first step to a better and healthier life”
