The Emanuela Rebaudengo Farm seeps up awards thanks to its PDO Riviera Ligure “Monaci Templari” EVO.
Breaking news. Emanuela Rebaudengo’s azienda agricola in Seborga sweeps up awards in the competitions organized by Olea (Organization laboratory of Expert Tasters), based in Pesaro and operating worldwide.
The results: first, the national award L’Oro d’Italia, top of crop with the PDO Riviera Ligure-Riviera dei Fiori “Monaci Templari” organic EVO in the special rankings of both organic light fruity and mono-cultivar. No coincidence production comes from 350 Taggiasca olive trees in the territory of Seborga, the most evocative of places.
Secondly, the vastest Olea Gold of the Mediterranean contest, with oils from Italy, Turkey, Greece, Spain, France, Tunisia, Croatia. Once again, in the mono-cultivar category, the PDO Riviera Ligure-Riviera dei Fiori “Monaci Templari”EVO won the light fruity category. with a particular mention for its organic dimension.
This dynamic and multifaceted family business is run by Flavio Gorni and Emanuela Rebaudengo, father and mother of little Nicole, often playing with their parents among the olive trees and stretched nets. Going organic means getting closer to younger generations and sustainable production, with an eye to the resources of the planet.
Competitions do not stop. The Principality of Monaco, London and Montreal are just around the corner…
Flavio Gorni is adamant: “We are happy, of course, competition was hard, usually companies from Southern Italy or other countries impose themselves. We have set a spotlight over a PDO oil as we believe in certification and in the guarantee of origin, thus carrying forward the name of Seborga, too”.
