Riviera Ligure DOP oil will be the big star of the culinary event “Per Tutti i Gusti – Il giro d’Italia a tavola” (“For all Tastes – The Culinary Tour of Italy”) promoted by the Hotel Starwood in Milan now reaching its second edition and dedicated this year to Liguria.
The golden ribbon, which will tie together the various stages of the event, will be Riviera Ligure DOP oil expressed in the three souls that make it stand out: Riviera dei Fiori, Riviera del Ponente Savonese and Riviera di Levante.
The event will take place between Milan and Genoa offering cookery shows, dinners and aperitifs with young and famous chefs.
It will begin on Monday 21 January at the “Il Canneto” Restaurant at the Sheraton Malpensa, where the executive chef Enrico Fiorentini will welcome, for a cookery show for journalists and food bloggers and for a dinner open to the public, the chefs Flavio Costa (Arco Antico, Savona), Ivano Ricchebuono (The Cook, Genoa), Giuseppe Ricchebuono (Fornace di Barbablù at Palazzo Vescovile, Noli), Claudio Tiranini (Spurcacciuna, Savona) and Roberto Panizza (Il Genovese, Genoa).
Scheduled for Thursday 31 January, again in Milan, is the aperitif tasting, at the Feltrinelli book store on Corso Buenos Aires, attended by Enrico Fiorentini, chef at the “Il Canneto” restaurant; guests will include the author Patrizia Traverso who will present her book: “Lo sguardo e il gusto” (“The Look and the Taste”) published by Tea, the journalist and blogger Barbara Sgarzi, the blogger Emanuela Caorsi and the photographer Paolo Picciotto.
On 6 February “Per tutti i Gusti” moves directly onto Ligurian soil, to Genoa, for an aperitif with tasting at the Feltrinelli book store. Barbara Sgarzi, journalist and blogger, Ivano Ricchebuono Michelin-starred chef at The Cook, Paolo Picciotto photographer, Patrizia Traverso photographer and author, Roberta Milano co-founder of BTO, Roberto Panizza restaurateur and president of the Pesto Championship with Carlo Vischi co-ordinator of Per Tutti i Gusti, will tell anecdotes and secrets about Liguria and its cuisine.
A culinary journey to rediscover the dishes and flavours of tradition where DOP oil will be the star as the most renowned and characteristic regional product.
