Three days dedicated to agriculture in the centre of Genoa organized through the cooperation of the Region of Liguria, the Ligurian Chambers of Commerce and the City of Genoa.
In the wonderful setting of the Old Port, on Friday the 21st, Saturday the 22nd and Sunday the 23rd, you will be able to stroll past the stands and learn about Ligurian DOP and organic agricultural products, seafood, livestock and flower production, itineraries to promote the region and holiday farms.
In Piazza delle Feste, adjacent to the Arena di Cucina where Genova Gourmet chefs will offer delicious dishes prepared exclusively with certified Ligurian ingredients, curious visitors will be able to enter the world of DOP Riviera Ligure Olive Oil.
In fact, thanks to an agreement between the DOP Riviera Ligure Olive Oil Protection Consortium and Liguria’s Regional Wine Centre, it will be possible to taste and purchase the products with protected designation of origin of the associated companies:
Azienda Agricola Cà Bianca (Chiavari), Azienda Agricola Morro Fabio (Andora), Azienda Agricola Muaje di Marvaldi Enrica (Imperia), Azienda Agricola Papone Mariano (Pietrabruna), Azienda Agricola Rota Roberto (Camporosso), Azienda Olivicola Canaiella (Savona), Frantoio Boeri Giuseppe (Taggia), Frantoio Gagliolo Sandro (Stellanello), Frantoio Oleario Saguato Stefano (Diano San Pietro), Fratelli Merano (Chiusavecchia), Olio Roi (Badalucco), Ranise Agroalimentare (Imperia).
Here are two of the occasions when DOP Riviera Ligure Olive Oil will be used in dishes prepared by Genova Gourmet chefs:
Saturday, 22nd September at 16:00 at the restaurant Il Genovino Cucina e Cantina, Chef Daniele Gambaro will prepare “Stuffed lettuce in broth”
Sunday, 23rd September at Ristorante Benita, Chef Salvatore Perrone will prepare “Garden, sea and meat”: cream of trumpet zucchini, Santa Margherita shrimps with peaty whiskey and crispy bacon.
