The Protection Consortium meets local restaurateurs and narrates quality, terroir and values of PDO EVO
The Italian tour of Riviera Ligure DOP EVO once more stops in Turin for a new episode of the valorisation project promoted by the PDO Riviera Ligure EVO Protection Consortium in collaboration with the Qualivita Foundation.
This awareness-raising and training initiative targets the Turin Horeca scene – which shows great interest for high quality ingredients – in order to promote the distinctive features of PDO products through sensorial analysis and exclusive tastings led by Giusepp Lisciotto, the young chef of Les Petites Madeleines.
“Riviera Ligure DOP EVO – says Chef Giuseppe Lisciotto – represents an added value for our culinary culture. A versatile ingredient fit to enhance any recipe, from starters to desserts. I myself used it in four different preparations making up a complete menu dedicated to Riviera Ligure DOP EVO
The PDO Riviera Ligure EVO Protection Consortium promotes “Oliveti Aperti” (June 15th/16th) a celebration of rural culture and landscapes dedicated to visits and experiences of Ligurian oil mills, agriturismi and aziende agricole.
