Thanks to the support of the Councillorship for Agriculture of the Region of Liguria and Unioncamere Liguria, the DOP Riviera Ligure Olive Oil Protection Consortium will be present at the Salone del Gusto in Turin, which will be held next 25th to 29th October.
The Liguria space in Pavilion 1 will host meetings in the framework of the program “The Story of Liguria from East to West“, such as the one that will be repeated every day at 11:30 am by the two Protection Consortia: “DOP Riviera Ligure Extra-Virgin Olive Oil and DOP Genoese Basil in the recipe for Pesto Genovese”. Through the presentation of the two main ingredients – DOP Riviera Ligure olive oil and DOP Genoese Basil – you can listen to the story and watch the live preparation of the most famous sauce the world prepared with a mortar according to the original recipe from Genoa.
In the stand of the Protection Consortium, it will also be possible to get to know the DOP Riviera Ligure olive oils of several member companies and, thanks to an agreement with Liguria’s Regional Wine Centre, purchase their products:
