National Day of Wine and Olive Oil Culture in Genoa with PDO Riviera Ligure Olive Oil

in collaboration with Italian Sommelier Association Liguria

This year the annual day of culture of the Italian Sommelier Association will be held in Liguria on 18th May 2013 at 3:00 pm in the Festival Hall of the Imperial Palace in Piazza Campetto, Genoa.

Thanks to a collaboration with ISA Liguria, this the event will include PDO Riviera Ligure Olive Oil in addition to wine.

After a welcome from the Regional President Alex Molinari, there will be presentations on the communication of wine and gourmet food products in general before learning more about the food pairing of food and wine. Prof. Mario Giordani will present PDO Riviera Ligure Extra-Virgin Olive Oil.

He will then lead his colleagues in a guided tasting of the three geographical designations of PDO Riviera LigureOlive Oil in a series of combinations prepared by the Solferino delicatessen of Genoa: chicken with potatoes, English-style rice and focaccia.

So, a pleasant day full of culture and tastings with PDO Riviera Ligure Olive Oil.
