Regione Liguria is back in Sanremo, a miss-not event fit to promote the best of the region, including its gastronomy – comments the president of Regione Liguria Giovanni Toti-. Last year Casa Sanremo was visited by 80 thousand people, and all of them walked through the Spazio Liguria area. This year we are confident numbers have grown, given the even more central location of the Palafiori on occasion of this 70th edition. Promoting Liguria in prime time on Rai 1 on the evenings of the Festival means bringing the music of the Carlo Felice theatre and regional landscapes, from Ponente to Levante, into the homes of millions of Italians. As always, a 10% Ligurian prize (offered by Regione Liguria) for the winner of the “New Proposals” section: a filigree lantern from Campo Ligure. A symbolic choice, very precious, linked to an area which has recently been hit by bad weathers and that, like Genoa immediately after the collapse of Ponte Morandi, has been able to stand up again”.
