9th-12th May are the dates of the 2019 edition of Slow Fish, which will take place in Genoa in the Porto Antico district. “The sea: a common good” is the theme for 2019 of theis international event dedicated to sustainable seafood and marine ecosystems and organized by Slow Food and Regione Liguria.
The La Mia Liguria Area is to host a journey among regional excellences: “L’importanza di chiamarsi DOP: Assaggia la Liguria show” (i.e. the importance of being a PDO: the Assaggia la Liguria show) will focus on PDO Riviera Ligure EVO, PDO Genoese Basil and CDO/GTI wines (presented by the Enoteca Regionale della Liguria) – the format includes a lecture followed by mortar pesto demo and tasting.
Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th will also feature a special session lead by destination expert Luisa Puppo (Ligucibario) – Destinazione DOP – dedicated to the links between PDOs and tourism development.
Assaggia la Liguria is a programme run by the Protection Consortia of PDO Genoese Basil and PDO Riviera Ligure EVO with the Enoteca Regionale della Liguria.
